"The only camp for umpires that you will call games with current and future professional players while they attempt to earn a contract in affiliated or independent league baseball!"

What others are saying:

"The California Winter League was a great opportunity for me to continue to accumulate experience and knowledge. It's an environment built to grow amongst your peers while getting a taste of a professional baseball environment. We received daily post-game feedback from Kevin and Tim, which provided valuable insights into positioning, mechanics, and rules. We received videos of plays and teachable moments that I believe helped me improve daily." - Blake McKnight- Frontier League Umpire

"Working the CWL under the supervision of Kevin and Tim was an extremely unique experience and opportunity. The amount of hands-on instruction was unlike any other league, camp or clinic I had previously worked or attended. After every game, I would get back to the room and usually have at least 3-4 videos going over something from that day's game(s). The critiques we received were given to us in a very constructive and encouraging way. I was never left feeling discouraged or unsure. I knew there was always an open line to call if I had any questions. After the conclusion of the CWL season, I have enjoyed the weekly online meetings for the Frontier League rookie umpires. These meetings are parked mainly with detailed information, but additionally covers situation handling, the mental approach to umpiring, and other tools that I feel will help prepare my peers and I for a great season in the Frontier League." -Lukas Naley Frontier- League Umpire

"I am incredibly grateful for the time I spent in the Frontier League, and the opportunities/ experiences this league provided me. I believe what the current leadership team is doing in the Frontier league for umpires is nothing shy of a phenomenal improvement towards the career advancement of our future umpires. The in-depth training, in-season evaluation plan, and hiring of high-level crew chiefs will improve not only the product of umpires on the field in the league, but the ongoing careers of those umpires as they move forward. This advanced level of training is something I certainly wish I had when I first started working professional baseball, and I am beyond excited to see what the future brings for the umpires coming out of this league." -Clark Morgan- Former FL/ Atlantic League Umpire, Current D1 umpire
